Flooding and Trudging: Magnetic Poetry Monday
I actually had a bit of trouble putting the 10 words I blindly selected together to make this poem. I still don’t know if it makes sense but I guess that is the beauty of poetry; it doesn’t always have to be obviously clear what the poet is trying to say.
Do you think that my sub-conscious is trying to tell me something with these poems?
Hope everyone had a safe and happy weekend! I was at a bachelorette on Saturday, which was a lot of fun and then on Sunday I did some more packing, cleaning, and grocery shopping before heading out for a run. No Crossfit for me over the weekend; I decided to give my body some time to recover from the workouts last week. I head back in tomorrow morning and I’m really looking forward to it!
Here’s the workout from Friday:
AMRAP = As many rounds as possible
We alternated between deadlifts and dumbbell push presses. For the former, I started with 65# and then we bumped it up to 75#. I had 15# for the latter. In total I did 15 rounds and I think I got in about 3 deadlift reps before time was called.
Oh, and my Broncos won. Whattup!
