The day has finally arrived; I have less than 7.5 hours left at work! A solid 2 hours will be spent at my farewell party (sushi!) and saying goodbye to people, but I have enough work to keep me occupied until the clock hits 5pm. Including a meeting with a client from 3:30 – 4:30. Who schedules a meeting for that time on a Friday? Seriously? I happen to like the client, so it’s okay.

It is pretty hard to believe that this is all happening; that I’m starting new adventures. It is a pretty big step and one I didn’t make lightly, but I know it is the right decision for me.  I still don’t have any flights booked to Peru, or anywhere else for that matter. Things keep popping up that shift plans oh-so-slightly. For the next month (at minimum) I’m planning to be funemployed! Yay!

I’m going to be living with my mom, doing Crossfit, and trying to figure out how to eat with all of these allergies. BTW, I went to the doctor yesterday and was informed I now have to stop eating bananas and apples unless they are cooked. Now I have to figure out a way to use the three remaining apples in my fridge and the ziplock bags full of frozen bananas in my freezer. Basically, in cleaning up my diet over the past couple of years and making healthy food decisions, I’ve actually been poisoning myself. High-five me!

Oh, and I hit myself in the nose today with a 45lb barbell. It’s bruised. My coach’s response “You’re okay; there’s no blood.”  I’d take a picture but I don’t think you need to see my face that close-up. Not necessary.

But I’m putting all of the allergies and bruises aside and tonight I am going to PARTY!!!!  WOOOHOOOOO!!!!! One last blowout with my friend and I may even drink more than one drink. That’s right; it’s gonna get crazy!
